Welcome to Golden Meadows of Utah, our story began long before we brought our first beautiful Golden Retriever home.  Like you we love dogs, over the years we have opened our hearts and home to several breeds. We were awed by their loyalty, loved each one of them deeply and mourned for them years after they passed. One of those dogs was a sweet Dachshund named Freckles

The experience with our dear Dachshund, Freckles, underscored the importance of responsible breeding. Freckles required ongoing medical care, costing around $500 a month for ten years due to irresponsible breeding practices. Consequently, we prioritize health testing, ensuring our Dams and Studs undergo thorough testing for around 200 genetic variants. We adhere to the highest standard of canine testing; our dogs are cleared by a Cardiologist, CERF-certified Canine Ophthalmologist, and achieve good or excellent OFA scores for hips, eyes and elbows. We surpass the national standards for the breed set forth by the Golden Retriever Club of America, GRCA. This ensures your future puppy will be healthy, happy and most importantly, with you as long as possible

Our meticulous approach continues with Reproductive Veterinarian assessments before each pregnancy, and regular veterinary check-ups for Dams and litters. We maintain the same high standards for our proven Studs, including verified semen count an and activity sperm analysis performed by a Reproductive Veterinarian.

Puppies are raised in a loving family environment that prepares them to thrive in their forever homes. Our commitment extends beyond the sale, with a comprehensive 36-month health guarantee that is the most comprehensive in the industry. We begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) on day 3 and employ Puppy Culture Method curriculum to provide comprehensive training and socialization.

At Golden Meadows of Utah, we oppose outside kennels and embrace our dogs as cherished members of our family. If in the tragic event you are no longer able to care for your Golden, we ask that you reach out to us first and place your dog with us. We have a contractual process to avoid surrendering to shelters or rescues. Our commitment to your dog purchased from Golden Meadows of Utah is for the lifetime of your dog.

Your puppy will come microchipped, and we encourage you to register with our information alongside yours. We ask for a screenshot verification within the first 30 days home to verify. We offer free boarding, basic training, and unlimited consultations throughout your dog's life.

Our team is available 7 days a week from 9 am to 9 pm MST. In case of an emergency after hours, please contact us immediately.
