Pediatric Low Cost Service Dog

At the core of Golden Meadows of Utah lies a program that embodies our fundamental values. Our unwavering commitment to the disability community drives us to create opportunities for children seeking access to Low-Cost Service Dogs, Therapy, or Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).

Our program aims to alleviate the financial burden associated with acquiring a service dog prospect for children with disabilities on fixed incomes due to their disability or mental health challenges. Recognizing the substantial costs of future training, we strive to remove financial barriers and enhance access for those in need of a Service Dog.

Once our litters reach 5-7 weeks of age, we can identify Service Dog quality puppies through rigorous third-party testing and assessment. This allows us to evaluate which puppies possess the potential to become Service, Therapy, or ESA prospects. It is important to note that our program is income contingent. Prospective candidates must fall at or below Federal guidelines we also include AGI’s at 100-200% range above the poverty line.

To participate in this program, we require verification of income and disability through a medical diagnosis or DSM-IV diagnosis. Email us letter or script from your physician, explicitly stating the need for a service, therapy, or ESA dog. If you do not have a medical professional our staff can recommend a practitioner. Each litter typically produces only a limited number of puppies that qualify as prospective future service dog.
